sabina
Sabina

Sabina is from upstate New York but has lived in Virginia the vast majority of her life. She has attended both Northern Virginia Community College and Lord Fairfax Community College where she is close to obtaining her Associates in Applied Science and became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Upon going to school Sabina struggled trying to decide if she would specialize in working with children, or those with special needs. Dr. McCorkle’s office presents a wonderful opportunity to combine both of those passions. She began working full time at Dr. McCorkle’s in 2012 and continued part time after having her first child. Sabina’s certifications include dental X-ray, American Heart Association BCLS, PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization), a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) course, and ongoing Dental training.

In her personal life Sabina has been married for over 7 years and has two small children whom she hopes to homeschool someday. She dedicates most of her time to family, church, and creating. Sabina enjoys periodically painting murals and has painted our ocean themed murals here in the office. Her favorite bible verse is Esther 4:14; “…And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Tina

Tina grew up in the hills of Romney, West Virginia with fourteen brothers and sisters  which enabled her to grow with much compassion for children.  She is a receptionist and insurance coordinator for Dr. McCorkle’s office and has been working here for almost 4 years.  Tina’s certifications include X-ray and American Heart Association CPR and PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization).  She feels very blessed to work with a team so dedicated to serving children and those living with extraordinary challenges.

She has lived in Strasburg, Virginia for 32 years and been married for 29 years.  Tina has 2 adult children, Bethany and Aaron and she loves spending quality time with her family and friends.  She sings and enjoys decorating for special events at her church.  One of her favorite things to do is shop at thrift stores and yard sales for great bargains to refurbish for church and home.  Matthew 7:7 – Ask, and it shall be given; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.

shailee
Shailee

Shailee was born and raised in Inwood, WV.  She attended Musselman High School and Spring Mills High School and currently is enrolled at Blue Ridge Community College.  November 2015 is when she joined the team, and plans to attend Hagerstown Community College to obtain her degree in Dental Hygiene. She struggled to decide which field to build a career in because while she had a desire to work in the medical field, she had a passion to work closely with children. Soon after graduation she met Kim who led her to Dr. McCorkle’s office which combines both.  Her certifications include X-ray, American Heart Association BCLS and PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization.)

Shailee is a new mom to her son Landyn and loves spending time with her family.  She attends Airborne church in Martinsburg WV where she enjoys helping in the children’s department. “The most rewarding part of my job is helping children overcome their fears of the dentist.”
