Payment & Insurance

Dental care is a valuable investment in your child’s health and happiness.  We will work to help you maximize your investment.  Please don’t hesitate to question us about fees and procedures so you can feel confident your child is getting the value you desire.  The parent bringing the child to our office is legally responsible for payment of all charges so we cannot send statements to other persons. We can provide an estimate of fees. So, be sure to let us know when you have any concerns.

Payment

Payment can be made by cash, check, Care Credit, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express. Some payment is expected at appointments as treatment progresses. Be sure to let us know when you have concerns about payment.

Insured

We accept most insurance plans as a non participating provider.  Be sure to bring both of your current dental and medical insurance cards.  As a courtesy, we provide electronic claims submission, usually the same day of your visit.  The amount insurance companies pay varies widely and is determined by the policies your employer selects and the plan you selected.

Preauthorization of planned procedures is usually recommended.  Treatment procedures and fees are reviewed and assigned by your insurance company so you will have a better idea of your plan benefits and your portion. You are requested to pay your estimated portion at the beginning of treatment.

We will file for your benefits, insurance company portion, as treatment progresses.  If your insurance plan sends the check to you, please mail or bring it to us with the enclosed EOB, Estimate of Benefits, for proper crediting to your account.  In order to maximize your benefits, we need this information.
