Awesome place for kids!!! The office has plenty of toys and a playground in the waiting area, to include a dental chair for kids to climb on and get comfortable with the feel. in the exam room, the walls and ceilings are covered with toys and decorations to keep kids amused and the staff (ALL of them) are AMAZING with kids. They get the kids involved and talk to them to make sure they take pride in brushing their teeth, as well as understand HOW to do it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Dr. McCorkle and his staff. They were respectful and sensitive to my children and me. Their office is the best referral I have ever received.

Absolutely loved the experience as always. Dr. M is great with the kids, and the hygenist we had…What a treat. Very happy, personable, good hint to remove the red dye from the mouth rinse, etc. The kids, as always, love that playhouse.

The understanding and flexibility all of the staff have makes for stress free dental appointments. Dr. McCorkle and his staff have an understanding of the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID?DD) and their positive supports helps facilitate a very positive experience.

They also schedule the adults with ID/DD durning times when there are no children, which provides dignity for everyone.

I had to take my son to the dentist way before most people do, as he was born missing enamel on one of his front teeth. My son looks forward to going to the dentist thanks to Dr. McCorkle and staff. I appreciate all that you do to make him comfortable- glove balloons and that awesome treasure chest. Children won’t have a fear of the dentist if their first experiences are enjoyable.

Dr. McCorkle and his staff are AMAZING!! They go above and beyond to make your child feel comfortable! They explain what they’re doing to the child instead of talking around them. EXCELLENT practice!!
